My day was really nothing special even though it was Easter.  Because I have class tomorrow/today/whenever we are, my family decided to do Easter dinner on Saturday night and just have a nice brunch Sunday morning.  So my day started with dragging myself downstairs at 9am, quickly opening the cute Easter basket my mother had put together for me, and then running back upstairs to take a shower and find clothing before the rest of the family got here.  Brunch was me, my parents, my grandmother, my uncle and aunt, and my two younger cousins.  We’re a very Italian family so a lot of what we ate this morning was of some sort of Italian origin including, but not limited to, a frittata, pasteria, and pane di pasqua/Easter bread.

After brunch and after everyone left, I finished getting my stuff together and then Mom and I headed off to drive back to DC.  The drive from my hometown in Maryland to DC takes about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the traffic.  Mom decided I was driving so I drove up the shore until we got to the outlets (about halfway).  We decided to stop and see what was open and ultimately found ourselves in BCBG.  I have a shopping addiction, I know.  I can’t help it.  Regardless, I ended up getting this light weight spring yet professional-esque jacket and skirt and yet another little back dress.  Actually, now that I think about it, that dress may become my new Preference dress…  The rest of the drive was fairly uneventful.  There was a lot of traffic from the west side of the bridge onwards and just got worse but Mom was the one driving, thankfully.  We made a slight detour and stopped in Bethesda to get dinner and then Mom dropped me off back at AU.

Aaaand that’s pretty much it.  Since I got back to AU, all I’ve been doing is kinda sorta working on finishing this Criminalistics paper.  Oh and I watch the newest Game of Thrones episodes.  And then I did this meme.  And that was my day in as much detail as I feel like writing at 3am.
